Goodbye Google Reader, Hello Bloglovin'!

In the last couple of months the blogs world is going crazy. Google Reader, one of the most popular platforms for blog reading, is closing its doors. I know many people are feeling helpless about it. I also felt this way at the beginning, but then I found Bloglovin'. I've been reading blogs through it for the last 1-2 months and I really like it. The interface is bright and clean, you can creat different blogs group to different blogs you subscribe to (food, crafting, fashion...) and the most important thing - you can import all the blogs you follow from Google Reader.

You don't want to wake up in the morning of July 1st and find out that Google Reader is down and you lost the long list of blogs you follow, do you?
So in order to import the blogs, you need to sign up for a Bloglovin' account first. Click here to go to Bloglovin'.

Now you'll get a message, offering you to import your blogs from Google Reader to Bloglovin'. Just confirm and you're done.

If you already have a Bloglovin' account, but you still haven't imported the blogs from Google Reader, you can still do it quickly and easily. On the top right side of the screen you can see a small heart (or your profile picture).

  7. I do not have Google Reader. I receive my blog posts via email (which can be a bit overwhelming when you subscribe to many). So, do you mean to tell me that I can set up a Bloglovin account and read all my blogs in one spot without blowing up my email box?? I know, I know, I'm waaaayyy behind on the times. This is fascinating!

    1. Yes, it seems that most Google Reader's subscribers are transferring to Bloglovin'. It took me a while to get used to it, but I'm a big fan now.
