Guest Post - Inbal from Dreams Tailor with a Wonder Drug Tutorial for Sore Throat

Today I am more than happy to have here on The Crafeteria a fellow Israeli Blogger, Inbal from the sweet blog Dreams Tailor. Although her blog is all in Hebrew, you can still enjoy the tutorials with a little help from Google Translate. Don't let the language to be a barrier! So Inbal will teach us how to make a wonder drug, that will help sore throat.
Inbal, the stage is all yours!

Hi all, I'm happy to be here at The Crafeteria! My name is Inbal, I'm 38 years old, a mother of two kids and writing the blog Dreams Tailor since 2004. My blog has recently moved to Wordpress and your welcome to move with me.
I homeschool both my kids (ages 7, 10), I'm a herbalist and alternative medicine practitioner and I love crafting - fabric, paper and more. On my blog you'll find more articles about herbs, plus recipes and lots of  - crafts tutorials - crochet, sewing, recycling and many more. This time I chose to share with you a wonder drug.
Summer is here, and with him come the heat and the air conditioners. I can't tell for sure if there's a connection between catching a cold and air conditioners, but I know that this wonder drug will help you if you suffer from sore throat, will ease your sleep if you catch a cold and help with stomach aches as well. All of these in one simple-to-make wonder drug.
Do you want to try?
Well, find a shrub of Salvia officinalis or Salvia fruticosa and get yourself a nice branch.

  Sage Branch

Now prepare a glass jar and vinegar

glass jar and vinegar

Put sage leaves in the jar and pour vinegar until the sage is all covered. Let stand for 24 hours, then you can start using it.

Wonder Drug - Sage vinegar

One teaspoon a day, diluted in one glass of water. Not more than that. Helps to ease sleep when suffering from a cold and for sore throat and allergies. For sore throat you can add one teaspoon into a spray bottle full of water and spray gently directly to the throat. It disinfects, reduces phlegm and even nice.

Thanks Tal for having me here, I hope you'll find this tutorial helpful and that you'll come to visit me on my blog

Have a great and healthy summer,

Inbal

  4. I like remedies over medication so this is great. I don't tend to get too many sore throats, but if I do I will have to try this.
