You'll need:
A nice teacup
Fabric scrap measuring approx. 40*40cm (15.7"*15.7")
Fiberfill stuffing
Rubber Band
Glue (I like to use a hot glue gun)
A nice teacup |
Now take your fabric scrap and place the fiberfill stuffing in the middle of it. Wrap the stuffing with the fabric and tie with rubber band.
If you got a long tail, like mine, it's better to cut it off a little |
Apply glue inside the cup and glue the fabric with the fiberfill stuffing inside.
That's it! Easy, right?

ReplyDeleteReally like this. I am not a sewer, only wish I could but never had anyone to teach me. Trying myself didn't work at all...haha. I made a mess every time I tried
ReplyDeleteI learned online, there are so many great tutorials out there. If I managed to do it, I'm sure you can :)
DeleteCute! What a fun gift idea too.

ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll have to learn to sew & make one for myself! ;)
Yes! Go ahead and learn to sew :) But I'm warning you - it's addictive...
DeleteThis is really nice - although I do not sew my Mom does and I think I will make it for her with a teacup I have that was part of an old set of my grandma. My mother will appreciate having it and will remember her Mom when she uses it.
ReplyDeleteMaria, that sounds fantastic, I'm sure your mom will be very happy. Please send a link when it's done, I'd love to see how it came out!
DeleteThis is a nice, and novel idea, especially for someone like me who's into all things related to tea.
